Téma, kterým se v diplomové práci zabývám je reengineering podnikových procesů v období hospodářské recese. V teoretické části se pak zabývám popisem pojmu hospodářská recese a jejími dopady do hospodaření firem, pohled na reengineering firem v minulosti a dále pak současný pohled na tento nástroj obrany proti dopadů hospodářské recese.
