Designing and Implementing an Online Course for Enhancing PC Literacy

Abstract:

This study explores the analysis of digital literacy education data to enhance adaptive learning systems, focusing on rural and underserved communities. By employing a quantitative methodology, demographic factors, learner engagement metrics, and pre- and post-training scores were analyzed to measure program effectiveness and identify trends. Findings revealed significant improvements in participants’ digital literacy, with younger individuals and those from higher socioeconomic backgrounds showing faster skill acquisition. Clustering algorithms identified distinct engagement patterns, providing actionable insights into learner behaviors. Statistical analysis underscored the critical influence of tailored interventions on bridging digital divides, highlighting disparities across demographic groups. Key recommendations include gamified and adaptive learning designs, personalized feedback mechanisms, and strategies to enhance engagement and retention. This research provides a foundation for data-driven policy and program design, contributing to the broader goal of equitable digital education access and bridging digital literacy gaps globally.
