The Coping Strategies of Managers on Different Levels of Management

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou copingových strategií u manažerů na různých manažerských úrovních. Teoretická část je rozdělená do tří částí. První část se věnuje základním pojmům, co je to stres, druhy stresu a jaké důsledky má stres na lidský organismus. Druhá část pojednává o copingu jako takovém, o dělení copingu a o tom, jak zvládat stres a zátěžové situace. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena přímo na manažery, management a jeho úrovně a které funkce by měl každý správný manažer mít. Empirická část zkoumá jednotlivé úrovně managementu a způsob, kterým se manažeři na daných úrovních se zátěžovými situacemi vyrovnávají. Dále práce vyhodnocuje, jaké strategie zvládání stresu u jednotlivých manažerů dominují a jakým způsobem tyto stresové situace zahání.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with coping strategies of managers on different manager levels. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first part deals with basic terms, what is stress, types of stress and consequences of stress on human organism. The second part deals with coping itself, about the division of coping and about how to cope with stress and stress situations. The third chapter is focused directly on managers, management and its levels and on manager functions. The empirical part examines the various levels of management and the way of managers to cope with stressful situations. Furthermore, the thesis evaluates which strategies of coping dominate by particular managers and how managers repel these stress situations.
