Diplomová práca sa zameriava na objasnenie fenoménu filmových stimulov, ku ktorému sa filmoví profesionáli, politickí zástupcovia ako aj široká verejnosť stavajú dvojakým spôsobom. Na začiatku prvotne analyzuje a vysvetľuje jednotlivé typy filmových stimulov. Nasledovne v dvoch kapitolách venuje svoju pozornosť financovaniu kinematografie v USA a Európe.
