German-Russian relations have a distinct historical footprint. After 2012, the relations between these two countries have changed signifi-cantly. Nemecko-ruské vzťahy majú výraznú historickú stopu. Po roku 2012 sa vzťahy týchto dvoch krajín začali výrazne meniť. Ďalšou kľúčovou udalosťou bola anexia Krymu Ruskom a konflikt na Donbase. Tieto nové udalosti priniesli do akademickej debaty mnoho impulzov sa ne-mecko-ruským vzťahom v kontexte SZBP EÚ výraznejšie venovať.
