An Analysis of Communication Skills of Pupils at the Beginning of Their Compulsory School Attendance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou komunikačních schopností žáků na počátku povinné školní docházky. Aspekt je především kladen na děti intaktní a rovněž děti, u kterých bylo podle kritérií diagnostikováno ADHD. U těchto dětí je zaměřena pozornost na jazykovou rovinu lexikálně-sémantickou a morfologicko-syntaktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá řečí, přibližuje vývoj řeči z ontogenetického a fylogenetického hlediska, jednotlivými jazykovými rovinami, kde je větší pozornost věnována rovině morfologicko-syntaktické a lexikálně-sémantické. Dále se zaobírá komunikací, narušenou komunikační schopností, vzděláváním a ADHD. Empirická část diplomové práce analyzuje výsledky screeningového vyšetření. Vyšetření bylo provedeno u dětí zahajujících povinnou školní docházku. Výzkum byl prováděn v rámci studentské grantové soutěže č. 43201 SGS/16. Nakonec práce jsou navržena doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of communication skills of pupils at the beginning of compulsory education, with regard to typically developing children, likewise children affected by ADHD. With these children we focus our attention on lexical-semantic and morphological-syntactic linguistic features of language. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on speech and its development from the ontogenetic and phylogenetic points of view, individual linguistic features with emphasis on lexical-semantic and morphological-syntactic systems. The theoretical part also deals with communication, speech-language impairment and education of children affected by ADHD. The empirical part of the thesis analyses results of screening investigation. The investigation was tested on children at the beginning of compulsory education. The research was implemented within student grant competition No. 43201 SGS/16. In the end of the thesis there are some recommendations useful for practice.
