Typographic design, illustration and digital media promotion of the book
Abstract:
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with issues of typographic book design. It describes the basic typographic rules followed by an analysis of current ways of book promotion focusing on digital media. The practical part describes the process of the creation of typographic design of the book Study in scarlet written by A. C. Doyle and animated banner ad and book trailer.
Abstract:
Teoretická časť práce sa zaoberá problematikou sadzby a grafickej úpravy kníh. Popisuje základné typografické pravidlá, za ktorými nasleduje rozbor súčasných možností propagácie kníh. Dôraz sa kladie na propagáciu pomocou digitálnych médií. Praktická časť popisuje proces tvorby typografického návrhu knihy Štúdia v šarlatovej od A. C. Doyla a tvorbu animovanej plošnej reklamy a knižného traileru.
