Strategy of the Approaches of Prevention School Methodologists to Teenagers as a Basis for the Primary Prevention of Risk Behaviour

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Strategie přístupů školních metodiků prevence k dospívající mládeži jako východisko pro primární prevenci rizikového chování“ pojednává o možných způsobech efektivního ovlivňování chování a postojů studentů středních škol jako prevence vzniku či rozvoje rizikového chování. V teoretické rovině se práce snaží objasnit determinující podmínky ohrožující vznik rizikového chování, mezi něž patří specifika vývojového období adolescence a negativní socializační činitelé společnosti. Součástí teoretické části jsou také charakteristiky nejčastěji vyskytujících se forem rizikového chování v sekundárním školství. A v souvislosti s tím jsou zde nastíněny možnosti a limity realizace primární prevence a opatření v současných podmínkách středních škol. V praktické části se práce snaží prostřednictvím kvalitativní analýzy odkrýt pohled školních metodiků prevence na současné studenty a jejich měnící se chování a popsat zvolené přístupy na základě zkušeností při práci s nimi.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Strategy of the Approaches of Prevention School Methodologists to Teenagers as a Basis for the Primary Prevention of Risk Behaviour“ deals with potential methods how to influence effectively the behaviour and the attitudes of secondary schools’ students as prevention of the origin or the development of risk behaviour. At the theoretical level, this document tries to clarify the determinative conditions endangering the origin of the risk behaviour. Specifics of the developmental period of adolescence and negative socialization factors belong to the risk behaviour. Also features of the most commonly occurring forms of the risk behaviour in the secondary education are a part of the theoretical part. In connection with that, possibilities and limits of the primary prevention implementation and measures in the current conditions of the secondary schools are here outlined. The practical part of the thesis is trying to uncover the prevention school methodologists’ view of current students and their changing behaviour through the qualitative analysis and to describe the approaches selected on the basis of the experience when working with them.
