Active Battery Management System for Home Battery

Abstract:

Překládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku správy akumulátorů použitých v domácí bateriové stanici. Konkrétní obvodové a softwarové řešení zařízení bylo vybráno na základě provedené rešerše a se znalostí požadovaných parametrů a funkcí dané bateriové stanice. Po rešerši dostupných řešení správy a balancování akumulátorů byly provedeny nezbytné výpočty a ideový návrh vlastního zařízení. Obvody pro balancování a monitorování akumulátorů byly doplněny o blok řízení a rozhraní zabezpečující komunikaci s dalšími komponentami bateriové stanice. Zařízení bylo realizováno též s ohledem na vhodnou mechanickou konstrukci vzhledem ke stávajícím rozměrům modulární akumulátorové sestavy. Součástí funkčního vzorku je též firmware bloku řízení umožňující otestování dosažených parametrů a požadovaných funkcí. Výsledné zařízení umožňuje flexibilní implementaci algoritmů pro aktivní balancování a monitorování modulární akumulátorové sestavy v domácí bateriové stanici

Abstract:

The master thesis is focused on the issue of the battery management systems used in the home battery stations. The individual circuits and software approach of the device were selected according to the performed research and with the knowledge of the required parameters and functions of the battery station. After the research in the field of the available solutions for the battery management and balancing the necessary calculations were followed by the design of the device. The circuitry used for balancing and monitoring of the accumulators are supported by the control block and communication interface which is important for cooperation with the others systems components. The device itself is realized with respect to the mechanical design of the current dimensions of the modular accumulator pack. The functional sample includes also the firmware of the control block enabling the test of the device parameters and required functions. The final version of the device allows the implementation of the flexible algorithms for active balancing and monitoring of the modular accumulator pack in the home battery station.
