Práca sa zaoberá tvorbou dánskeho umelca a skladateľa Jacoba Kirkegaarda, ktorého umelecké prejavy môžeme zaradiť do ťažko ohraničiteľnej oblasti sound artu (zvukového umenia). Táto práca sa skrz analýzu a interpretáciu vybraných diel bude snažiť definovať typické témy, ktorým sa Kirkegaard venuje a vysledovať preňnho špecifické postupy a praktiky, ktoré využíva pri práci so zvukom.
