Abstract:

Predložená diplomová práca sa zaoberá prístupom Pierra Bourdieu k spoločenskej realite, jeho teóriou jednania, a vnútornou diferenciáciou názorov na vyššie zmienené. Hlavný dôraz je kladený na otázku prekonania obvyklých dichotómií v spoločenských vedách, ktorý zostáva, aj v súvislosti s teóriou Bourdieuho, predmetom akademických debát. Pre zodpovedanie tejto otázky budú v práci predstavené dve úzko súvisiace debaty zamerané na dichotómie a) objektivizmus vs. subjektivizmus, a b) agentúra vs. štruktúra. Jednotlivé debaty sú v práci logicky štrukturované, v rámci jednotlivých debát sú analyzované interpretácie teórie P. Bourdieu, ich podstata a relevancia. Jadru práce predchádza základné predstavenie diela daného autora, ktoré je nevyhnutné pre pochopenie príspevkov v diskusiách, ktoré ukazujú ako Bourdieu (ne)prekonáva vo svojej teórii spoločenskej reality vyššie zmienené dichotómie.

Abstract:

The submitted master´s thesis deals with Pierre Bourdieu´s perspective on social reality, his theory of practice, and the internal differentiation of the secondary interpretations. The emphasis is placed on the question of overcoming the exerted dichotomies in social sciences. This issue still constitutes the object of vigorous academic debates. In order to resolve the issue in connection to Bourdieu´s theory, the thesis will deal with the two overlapping discussions focused on a) the dichotomy of objectivism and subjectivism; and b) the dichotomy of agency and structure. The individual discussions are logically structured; they aim to provide the analysis of the secondary interpretations of Bourdieu´s theory, as well as the study of their nature and relevance. In the beginning, the thesis enquires into the basic outline of Bourdieu´s approach and its signature concepts, which is indispensable to further apprehension of the two above mentioned controversies.
