Aggressiveness of pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Agresivita žáků“ se zabývá agresivním chováním žáků na 1. stupni základní školy. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je představeno prostředí, tedy škola, ve kterém je agresivní chování žáků zkoumáno. Dále je charakterizován učitel, jeho osobnost, role a kompetence, kterými by měl disponovat. Poté samotný žák, jeho vývoj a specifika vzájemné komunikace s učitelem. Práce se pak detailněji zaměřuje na způsoby agresivního chování a terminologii, která s tímto tématem souvisí. Představuje agresi z různých perspektiv, popisuje její možné příčiny, druhy agrese a zabývá se také její prevencí a možnostmi, jak s agresivitou pracovat. Empirická část zjišťuje, jak učitelé pohlížejí na agresivní chování žáků, zda se orientují v pojmech, které s tímto téma-tem souvisejí, s jakým agresivním chováním se setkávají a jak často jej registrují, jak řeší případné konflikty a zda mu předcházejí. Následně pak učitelé rozlišovali, jaké chování je, či není z jejich pohledu projevem agresivity a do jaké míry.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Aggressiveness of pupils" deals with aggressive behaviour of pupils in the first stage of primary school. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the environment, i.e. the school, in which the aggressive behaviour of pupils is investigated is presented. Furthermore, the teacher, his personality, roles and competences that he should possess are characterized. Then, the pupil himself, his development and the specifics of his communication with the teacher. The thesis then focuses in detail on the types of aggressive behaviour and terminology related to this topic. It introduces aggression from different perspectives, describes its possible causes, types of aggression and also deals with its prevention and ways of working with aggression. The empirical part finds out how teachers view students' aggressive behaviour, whether they are familiar with the concepts related to this topic, what aggressive behaviour they encounter and how often they register it, how they deal with possible conflicts and whether they prevent it. The teachers then differentiated between what behaviour is or is not, in their view, a manifestation of aggression and to what extent.
