Modification of operation of cooling water pumping station

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou chladicích čerpadel a jejich provozování v chladicím systému klasické tepelné elektrárny Mělník. Médiem je surová labská voda, která je využívaná pro chlazení kondenzátorů odběrových kondenzačních turbín. V teoretické části je uveden popis čerpací stanice, popis chladicích čerpadel a jejich stávající princip provozování, základní popis chlazení turbín. Úpravy zařízení a nový způsob regulace množství chladicí vody. V praktické části jsou provedeny analýzy spotřeb chladicích vod původního provozu chladicích čerpadel vůči novému způsobu provozování. Provozní stavy zařízení (hlavní topná sezóna, přechodné období, léto). Závěrem je vyhodnocení této úpravy zařízení, technicko- ekonomické efekty a doporučení navržených opatření s cílem zajistit dostatečný tlak chladicí vody na vstupu do kondenzátoru TG 3 a TG 4 v elektrárně Mělník I. Zajištění dlouhodobého stabilního provozu čerpací stanice s minimalizací provozních nákladů, a to především v úspoře vody pro průtočné chlazení kondenzátorů a ve snížení spotřeby elektřiny.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cooling pumps and their operation in the cooling system of the classic thermal power plant in Mělník. The resource is unprocessed Elbe water, which is used for cooling condensers of condensing turbines. In the theoretical part there is a description of a pumping station, a description of cooling pumps and their current operating principle as well as a basic description of turbine cooling. In the end equipment modifications and a new way to control the amount of cooling water are defined. In the practical part analysis of cooling water consumption of the original operation of cooling pumps are compared to the new way of operation. Operating states of equipment (main/peak heating season, transition period, summer) are defined. The conclusion is the evaluation of this equipment modification, technical-economic effects and recommendations of the proposed measures with the aim to ensure sufficient cooling water pressure at the input to the TG 3 and TG 4 condenser in Mělník I thermal power station and ensuring long-term stable operation of the pumping station, minimizing operating costs, especially in saving water for continuous cooling of condensers and in reducing electricity consumption.
