Hugo Demartini and the demonstration at area

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the life of Czech sculptor Hugo Demartini and his work of demonstration in space. Thesis is about author who is demonstrating gallery area through polished chrome balls, which he placed into nature, which is reflecting the human standing against them and even the nature itself, so it becames the part of the artwork. Another demonstration of space is throwing various objects. The process is based round coincidence, where the objects are influenced by space, time and surrounding conditions. The aim of my thesis is to study the problematics a bit deeper and also to try to describe it in mathematics and physical point of view. I chose three methods to study the issues: analysis, synthesis and comparison. Main sources are chosen from specialized literature, internet and the documentary about sculptor. Structure: 1. Abstract:

Témou mojej bakalárskej práce je autor Hugo Demartini a jeho demonštrácia v priestore. Práca pojednáva o autorovi, ktorý demonštruje galerijný priestor prostredníctvom naleštených pochromovaných gúľ, ktoré umiestnil do prírody a v ktorých sa okrem nej odráža aj člověk, a zároveň sa stávajú súčasťou diela. Ďaľšiou demonštráciou je vyhadzovanie predmetov do vzduchu. Tento proces je založený na náhode, predmety sú ovplyvňované priestorom, časom a okolitými podmienkami. Cieľom práce je hlbšie preskúmať danú problematiku a popísať ju aj z fyzikálno-matematického hľadiska. Vo svojej práci som zvolila metódu analýzy, syntézy a komparácie.
