Innovation as a tool for the competitiveness of an enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku inovací z hlediska inovačního řízení a řízení změn, v přímé spojitosti těchto aktivit na utváření celistvé konkurenční výhody, díky které lze docílit zlepšení stavu konkurenceschopnosti. Smyslem inovačních záměrů, je získat v různých podobách určité výhody na úkor konkurence, která jimi nedisponuje nebo je nedokáže zajistit. Hlavním přínosem inovací je tedy zvýšená konkurenceschopnost, která firmě zajišťuje požadovaný zisk a minimálně záruku delšího působení na trhu v daném odvětví. Význam inovací je globálně rostoucím fenoménem, kdy za posledních desítek let se tento pojem stále častěji vyskytuje i v odborné literatuře, kde se na ně pohlíží ze stále nových úhlů pohledu. Bez inovací by většina firem nemohla z dlouhodobého hlediska existovat, časem by je předstihla firma, které se dokáže rychleji zorientovat a přizpůsobit rychle se měnícímu, dynamickému prostředí globalizovaného trhu. Firmy v tomto směru mohou využít hned několik strategií, například naslouchat novým potřebám, požadavkům a očekávání zákazníků, monitorovat svoji konkurenci, ale i přicházet na trh se zcela novými, převratnými nápady, které by mohly zásadně ovlivnit celé odvětví. Inovace však nejsou vždy zárukou úspěchu, jsou rizikové, a proto musí být řádně řízeny a kontrolovány, kde základ představují precizně zpracované marketingové výzkumy. Cílem této diplomové práce bude vytvoření modelu řízení inovací a změn, který by zlepšil konkurenceschopnost zkoumaného rodinného podniku BONAVITA s.r.o.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of innovation in terms of innovation management and change management, in direct connection of these innovative activities to create a competitive advantage and improve the state of competitiveness. The purpose of innovation plans is to gain in various forms certain advantages over competitors, which will also be appreciated by the market. The main benefit of innovations is thus increased competitiveness, which provides the company with the required profit and at least guarantees longer market presence in the industry. The importance of innovations is a globally growing phenomenon, where over the last decades this term has been increasingly found in the scientific literature, which views them from new perspectives. Without innovation, most companies could not exist in the long run, and over time they would be overtaken by a company that can orientate and adapt more quickly to the rapidly changing dynamic environment of a globalized market. Companies can choose from several strategies, for example, to listen to customer new needs, requirements and expectations, but also to come up with new, revolutionary ideas that could potentially fundamentally change the industry. However, innovations are not always a guarantee of success, they are risky and must therefore be properly managed and controlled, with precise marketing research at first. The aim of this thesis will be to create a model of innovation and change management, which will become a competitive advantage of the examined family business BONAVITA Ltd.
