Genetická variabilita v genech určujících intenzitu oxidačního stresu jako potenciálně významný faktor progrese vybraných chronických onemocnění
Genetic variability in the genes determining the intensity of the oxidative stress as a potentially important factor in the progression on selected chronic diseases
Abstract:
Oxidační stres se uplatňuje v patogenezi řady onemocnění, např. aterosklerózy, diabetu a neurodegenerativních a zánětlivých chorob. Variabilita v genech kódujících enzymy a proteiny regulující redoxní rovnováhu patří mezi potenciální kandidáty modulující průběh chronické choroby. Cílem práce bylo i) zjistit prevalenci HFE polymorfizmů (C282Y, H63D a S65C) u pacientů s chronickou virovou hepatitidou …moreAbstract:
Oxidative stress has been implicated in the pathogenesis of many diseases including atherosclerosis, diabetes and neurodegenerative and inflammatory disorders. Genetic variability in genes encoding enzymes/proteins regulating redox balance belong to functional candidates potentially modulating the course of chronic disease. The aim of the study was i) to determine the prevalence of selected HFE polymorphisms …more
