Diagnostiku lymfoproliferativních onemocnění, která je založena na morfologickém a imunohistochemickém vyšetření, je v některých případech vhodné doplnit vyšetřením klonální přestavby genů kódujících imunoglobuliny či T buněčné receptory zkoumaných buněk. Diagnosis of lymphoproliferative diseases is based on morphology and immunohistochemistry. In some cases it is beneficial to address clonal rearrangements of immunoglobulin or T-cell receptor genes in suspected lesions, preferentially by methods of molecular biology, such as PCR that has been established as the world-wide standard.
