Due to automation of the station network of CHMI there are implemented automatic tipping-bucket rain gauges at some meteorological stations. The time series of daily and monthly precipitation amounts measured by the conventional (manual) rain gauge METRA and the automatic tipping-bucket rain gauge MR3H at 31 meteorological stations are statistically compared in this work.
