Concept of Security Roles in Perun system

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá nájdením dynamického modelu riadenia prístupu pre systém Perun a jeho prototypovou implementáciou. Popisuje systém, odôvodňuje potrebu prerobenia súčasného autorizačného modelu a uvádza očakávané prínosy nového modelu. Následne prevádza rešerš v oblasti abstraktných modelov riadenia prístupu a diskutuje ich relevantnosť pre Perun a ich schopnosť vyriešiť aktuálne problémy. Ďalšia časť vyberá najvhodnejší prístup, navrhuje jeho začlenenie do súčasného systému a popisuje proces implementácie. Záverečná časť sumarizuje dosiahnuté výsledky a načtrtáva možné nadstavby na túto prácu.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to find a dynamic, fine-grained access control model for the Perun system and to implement it as a prototype. It describes the system and discusses the reasons why it is necessary to remodel the current authorization model and what should the new one bring to the system. Then it provides research in the field of abstract access control models and discusses whether they are suitable for Perun and if they would help to solve the actual problems. The next part chooses the most suitable approach, proposes how it will be incorporated in the current system, and describes the implementation process. The last part of the thesis summarizes the results and discusses future work, which will extend this work.
