Vstup České republiky do Schengenského prostoru se odrazil v mnoha sférách. Následkem odstranění hraničních kontrol, byly nuceny přijmout změnu i justiční a policejní orgány. Díky zvýšenému počtu cizích státních příslušníků v ČR byl navýšen i počet zjištěných trestných činů, které měli tito státní příslušníci na svědomí. The entry of the Czech Republic to the Schengen area has been reflected in many spheres. As a result of removing the border controls, judicial and police authorities has been forced to accept the changes.
