Premenstral Syndrome

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice premenstruačního syndromu, je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části je v jednotlivých kapitolách popsána fyziologie menstruačního cyklu, dále přibližuje fyziologické účinky pohlavních hormonů. V další kapitole teoretické části se věnuji definicí premenstruačního syndromu, fyzickým a psychickým příznakům, možnostech farmakologické i nefarmakologické léčby. Je zde také popsána premenstruační dysforická porucha, její definice výskyt a léčba. Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, jaké mají ženy zkušenosti s premenstruačním syn-dromem. Výsledky byly získávány na základě nestandardizované dotazníků. Výsledkem praktické části této práce je zjištění, že se u zkoumaného vzorku žen vyskytly v největším zastoupení fyzické symptomy. Dále bylo zjištěno, že větší množství žen dává přednost farmakoterapii pro úlevu od projevů premenstruačního syndromu. Konkrétní získané poznatky jsou uvedeny v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with description of premenstrual syndrome, it is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the physiology of the menstrual cycle, which is described in individual chapters. It focuses on the physiological effects of sex hormones. In the next chapters of the theoretical part, I also deal with definition of premenstrual syndrome, physical and mental symptoms, pharmacology and non-pharmacology treatments options. It also describes dysphoric disorder, it is a definition occurrence and treatment. The main purpose of the practical part is discovered to the experiences of the women with premenstrual syndrome. The results of this work were created based of a non-standardized questionnaire. The findings of the practical part shows, that physical symptoms occurs in the majority of the examined sample of the women. The thesis also found that more women prefer pharmacotherapy to relieve premenstrual syndrome. The specific findings are listed in the conclusion of this bachelor thesis.
