Tématem práce je charakteristika postavy českého krále Jana Lucemburského. Práce má tři části, za prvé politické pozadí, které se podílelo na utváření panovníkovy osobnosti, hlavně co se jeho vztahu k českému království týče, za druhé charakteristiku postavy a třetí částí je zhodnocení a vývoj pohledu jednotlivých kronikářů na Jana Lucemburského. The subject of this work is a figure characteristic of the king John of Bohemia. It is divided into three parts, at first the political background which participated in formation the king's character, especially in point of his relation to the Bohemian Kingdom.
