This master thesis aims to analyze the site iDNES.cz and the means of persuasion, especially verbal means, which act on the mass recipient. Besides analysis the basic concepts like communication, persuasion, medium, tabloid and serious press, manipulation etc., we also describe the characteristics of the web itself, its past, present and the main focus.
