Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o tvorbě režiséra Roberta Eggerse a kameramana Jarina Blaschkeho. Práce se zaměřuje především na jejich přístup k obrazové dramaturgii. Od tvorby prvotní koncepce vyprávění, přes definici obrazového stylu až po hledání a vytváření technických přístupů, které dvojice, zejména pak tedy převážně Jarin Blaschke využívá k navození autenticity obrazu. Tyto technické přístupy slouží jednak k navození autenticity filmového díla, jednak zesilují emocionální účinek příběhu na diváka. Na základě teoretického ukotvení jsou tyto přístupy popsány a analyzovány na filmech Čarodějnice, Maják a Seveřan.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with the work of director Robert Eggers and cinematographer Jarin Blaschke, focusing primarily on their approach to visual dramaturgy. It explores their process from crafting the initial narrative concept, defining visual style, to the exploration and creation of technical approaches, predominantly utilized by Jarin Blaschke, aimed at establishing authenticity in the imagery. These technical approaches serve not only to evoke authenticity in the film work but also enhance the emotional impact of the story on the viewer. Based on theoretical grounding, these approaches are described and analyzed in the films "The Witch," "The Lighthouse," and "The Northman."
