Fenomén sdílené ekonomiky, jehož je peer-to-peer (P2P) součástí, pokračuje v pronikání do mnoha odvětví ekonomiky. To se týká i finančních produktů, kdy se tradiční zprostředkovatelé, zpravidla banky a pojišťovny, dostávají do pozadí a jejich roli částečně přejímají platformy, které umožňují přímější poskytování finančních služeb. The phenomenon of a sharing economy, including services based on peer-to-peer (P2P), continues to penetrate many sectors of the economy.
