Tato diplomová práce se zabývá překladem nonsensu jako literárního prostředku v devíti dětských knihách Roalda Dahla. This Master’s thesis deals with the translation of nonsense as a literary device in nine children’s books by Roald Dahl. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate that nonsense is an important part of Dahl’s work, as well as to define the specifics of translating nonsense, especially puns, similes and neologisms, and to describe the strategies that five Czech translators have employed in the translation …more
