Nezávislé správní úřady představují významnou podmnožinu správních úřadů tvořících součást moci výkonné. Jedním z požadavků kladených na jejich fungování je jejich nezávislost na pokynech shora, zejména na pokynech vlády. Independent administrative authorities represent a subset of administrative authorities which form a part of the executive power. They are required to be independent of instructions from above, especially from the government.
