The Image of Writer in Česká televize Talk Shows

Abstract:

Tématem práce bylo pokusit se odpovědět na otázku, jaký mediální obraz o současném českém spisovateli podávají tři nejsledovanější talk show v předním českém veřejnoprávním médiu. Práce se věnuje formátu televizního pořadu talk show z hlediska historie v českém i světovém kontextu, popisuje strukturu pořadu a jeho typické znaky. Rozebírá také styl vedení interview jednotlivých moderátorů a zároveň styl užité komunikace. V další části se pak zaměřuje na povolání spisovatele a nastiňuje jistý historický vývoj, kterým tato profese procházela. V praktické části se práce soustředí zejména na analýzu konkrétních spisovatelů, kteří ve vybraných pořadech vystupovali.

Abstract:

The main topic of this work was to answer the question what kind of image about contemporary Czech writer do three of the most watched talk shows in Czech public television present. This work studies the history of talk shows in perspective of Czech and worldwide environment; moreover it describes structure of the broadcast and its typical features. Furthermore it analyses how individual hosts of talk shows hold an interview and what type of communication do they use. Next part of this work focuses on the job of the writer and it also outlines certain historical progress of this profession. The practical part of this work concentrates mainly on analysis of particular writers who appeared in mentioned broadcast.
