The worksheet for The Monument of Baroque Fountains in a city of Olomouc

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl vytvořit pracovní list přibližující památku soubor Barokních kašen v Olomouci jako jednu z možných cest, kterými se lze vydat při přibližování kulturněhistorického dědictví veřejnosti. Památky ve veřejném prostoru nejsou lidmi účelně objevovány jako je tomu objektů uložených v muzejních institucí, proto mohou být edukační pomůcky vhodným prostředkem k vytvoření vztahu člověka a statického objektu v prostoru. První část této práce se snaží teoreticky uchopit podstatu pedagogických aktivit a jejich využití muzejními institucemi jako alternativu k výchově a vzdělávání na základních a středních školách. Prvně jsou rozepsány variace edukačních pomůcek a jejich účel a posléze popsána tvorba pracovního listu včetně jeho možných variant. Druhá část popisuje konkrétní památku, jež má být pracovním listem přiblížena, tedy Barokní kašen s antickým námětem jako součást celého barokního plánu města Olomouce. Uvádí důvody obratu Baroka k antické mytologii, který je vidět napříč historií téměř permanentně, a také rozvádí významy jednotlivých prvků kašen v kontextu doby. Ve třetí části práce je popsána reálná tvorba pracovního listu včetně určovacích kritérií, jako je cílová skupina, konkrétní úkoly a zdůvodnění způsobů přiblížení památky. Pracovní list je přítomen v práci včetně fotografií kašen a jejich inspiračních zdrojů.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a worksheet to introduce six Baroque Fountains in a city of Olomouc as one of the possible ways in which the cultural heritage in a public space can be approached. Unlike objects exhibited in museums, the public monuments are not being discovered intentionally by people. Educational tools can be suitable for creation of a relationship between individual and the static object in space. The first part of this thesis tries to theoretically grasp the essence of pedagogical activities and their application by museums as an alternative ways of education at elementary and secondary schools. At first, the variations of the educational tools is briefly described including more detailed description of the worksheet with its possible variants. The second part describes the specific object of the cultural heritage, the Baroque fountains with antique features as a part of the whole Baroque plan of the city of Olomouc. The reasons for the retrospection of the Baroque period to antiquity are explained and analogous retrospections across the history are provided. Additionally, the interpretation of particular features of the fountains in the time context are described. The third part of the thesis describes the actual creation of the worksheet, including the determination of criteria such as the target group, the individual tasks and the justification of the ways of approaching the cultural heritage. The worksheet is included containing the photographs of the fountains and their inspirational sources.
