Customs and dishes of Caucasian cuisine in Russian culture

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis, entitled "Customs and dishes of Caucasian cuisine in Russian culture", was to show how multifaceted the culture of such a small region as the Caucasus is and how much it can influence the lives of other people, in particular the Russian people. One of the most important facets to understanding this is to explain the Caucasian culture itself, its history and its specificities. Dozens of works, from the writings of authors who lived hundreds of years ago to contemporary studies of our own day, have been used to explore it in more detail.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce s názvem "Zvyky a pokrmy kavkazské kuchyně v ruské kultuře" je ukázat, jak mnohotvárná je kultura tak malého regionu, jakým je Kavkaz, a jak moc může ovlivnit život ostatních lidí, zejména ruského národa. Jedním z nejdůležitějších aspektů pro pochopení této problematiky je vysvětlení samotné kavkazské kultury, její historie a specifik. K jejímu podrobnějšímu zkoumání byly použity desítky prací, od spisů autorů žijících před stovkami let až po současné studie z naší doby.
