Environmental security in the context of natural hazards in the V4 states

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá environmentální bezpečností v Česku, Slovensku, Polsku a Maďarsku. V teoretické části používám metodu literární rešerše z dostupné odborné literatury, dokumentů ministerstva životního prostředí v zemích V4 a z internetových zdrojů. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu přírodních rizik, konkrétně na problematiku extrémního počasí, sucha, sesuvů půdy, povodní a požárů. Následné analýzy posuzují, do jaké míry je environmentální bezpečnost rozvinutá v jednotlivých státech Visegrádské čtyřky. Informace z teoretické části bakalářské práce poskytují přehledné informace o konkrétních případech ochrany proti přírodním rizikům. Výsledky praktické části objasňují, jestli je v dané zemi environmentální bezpečnost řešena, jak moc je řešena a do jaké míry je země ohrožena v souvislosti s danou problematikou.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the environmental safety in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. In the theoretical part, I use the method of literary research from available professional literature, documents of the Ministry of Environment in V4 countries and from Internet sources. The practical part will is focused on the analysis of natural risks, specifically on the issue of extreme weather, drought, landslides, floods and fires. Subsequent analyzes assess the extent to which environmental security is developed in the individual states of the Visegrad Four. Information from the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis provides clear information about specific cases of protection against natural risks. The results of the practical part clarify whether environmental safety is addressed in a given country, how much it is addressed, and to what extent the country is threatened in connection with the given issue.
