Nature Motifs in the Lyric Poetry of František Halas

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl sledovat přírodní motivy v lyrice Františka Halase, jejich frekvenci (doloženou statistickou tabulkou) a též proměnu jednotlivých motivů v díle básníka směřujících k nacházení potřebné jistoty. Práce se v jednotlivých kapitolách zaměřuje na přírodní motivy růže a hada, listu, stromu, deště, vína a ptáka. Zvláštní kapitola v práci se věnuje Halasově próze Já se tam vrátím, která je epicentrem přírodních motivů a která je porovnána s ostatními autorovými prózami a Demlovými Mými přáteli. Vybrané motivy jsou mezi ostatními přírodními motivy v Halasově díle nejpočetnějšími a nejdominantnějšími a ukázaly se jako neodmyslitelná součást cesty hledání a nalezení básníkovy jistoty jediného konečného prostoru, jímž se stala Českomoravská vysočina, konkrétně místo Kunštát.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis sets as its objective to monitor natural motives in the lyrics of František Halas, their frequency (supported by a statistical table) and also the metamorphosis of particular motives in the poet’s work leading to finding the necessary security. Within its particular chapters the thesis focuses on natural motives of a rose and snake, leaf, tree, rain, wine, and bird. An individual chapter within the thesis is dedicated to Halas’s prose “Já se tam vrátím” (I will return there), which is the epicentre of natural motives and which is compared with the other author’s prose and Deml’s “Moji přátelé” (My friends). The selected motives are among the other natural motives in the Halas’s works the most numerous and most dominant and proved themselves as an essential part of the way of searching and finding the poet’s security of one final area, which happened to be the Czech-Moravian Highlands, in the concrete the town of Kunštát.
