Tato práce se zabývá tématem snu v díle britské spisovatelky Rose Tremainové. V práci jsou podrobně zkoumány čtyři romány: Restoration (1989, v češtině Navrácená milost, 1990), Sacred Country (1992), Music & Silence (1999, česky Hudba a ticho, 2002) a The Road Home (2007), a na základě jejich rozboru jsou představeny různé druhy snů, které Tremainová ve svých románech uplatňuje. This thesis deals with the topic of dreams and goals in selected novels of British contemporary author Rose Tremain. Based on a qualitative literary analysis of four novels, Restoration (1989), Sacred Country (1992), Music & Silence (1999) and The Road Home (2007), it attempts to examine the different types of dreams Tremain puts to use in her novels, their purpose in the story and their influence …more
