Peritoneální adheze vznikají po operačním zásahu či vlivem dlouhodobé dialýzy, zánětu nebo poškození v oblasti dutiny břišní. Peritoneal adhesions occur after surgery or due to long-term dialysis, inflammation, or injury to the abdominal cavity. The exact mechanism of the fibrotic formation has not been completely investigated yet, even though the prevention or subsequent treatment of peritoneal adhesions is strongly required.
