Food preferences of Diptera associated with fungi of the family Amanitaceae

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je založena na chovu dospělců dvoukřídlého hmyzu z larev, které napadají plodnice hub čeledi Amanitaceae. Výzkum probíhal ve třech sezónách, v roce 2008, 2009 a 2010, vždy v době od července do října, na osmi lokalitách v České republice. Celkem bylo z devíti druhů hub čeledi Amanitaceae odchováno 24 druhů dvoukřídlých patřících do sedmi čeledí. Bylo zjištěno, že se jedná převážně o polyfágní druhy, které se běžně vyskytují v plodnicích více druhů hub čeledi Amanitaceae. To také potvrzuje srovnání druhové skladby dvoukřídlých v jehličnatém a listnatém lese. Lokality se lišily druhovou skladbou hub čeledi Amanitaceae, ale skladba druhů dvoukřídlých byla na obou lokalitách velmi podobná. Podíl společných druhů činil 73%. Na vyšší taxonomické úrovni byla pozorována vazba mezi touto skupinou hub a zástupci čeledí Drosophilidae, Mycetophilidae a Phoridae, které jsou pro houby čeledi Amanitaceae charakteristické. Překážkou pro tyto druhy nejsou ani jedy obsažené v plodnicích některých druhů hub čeledi Amanitaceae. Nejvíce druhů dvoukřídlých bylo odchováno z druhu Amanita muscaria, Amanita pantherina a Amanita rubescens.

Abstract:

This thesis is based on rearing of the adults of Diptera from larvae, which attacked fungi of the family Amanitaceae. According to the data obtained in 2008, 2009 and 2010 (between July and October) in 8 localities in the Czech Republic, 24 species belonging to 7 families of Diptera have been reared from 9 species of the family Amanitaceae. The results suggest that these species are polyphagous, commonly occurring in many species of fungi of the family Amanitaceae. This was confirmed also by the comparison of the species associated with deciduous forest and coniferous forest. These two localities differ in the species composition of the fungi of the family Amanitaceae but the composition of Diptera species was similar in these localities. The proportion of the species common to both localities was 73%. The association of Diptera species with Amanita species was observed on higher taxonomic level. The families Drosophilidae, Mycetophilidae and Phoridae are characteristic for the fungi of the family Amanitaceae. Diptera associated with Amanita species are resistant to the poisonous substances included in the fruiting bodies. The majority of species was reared from Amanita muscaria, Amanita pantherina and Amanita rubescens.
