The functionalized spherical particles of polystyrene with magnetic core

Abstract:

V této bakalářská práci byla provedena literární rešerše týkající se přípravy, charakterizace a využití oxidu železnato-železitého (Fe3O4), přípravy kompozitu polystyrenu s magnetickým jádrem a jejich charakterizace a funkcionalizace tohoto polymeru. Metodou koprecipitace byly připraveny nanočástice Fe3O4 z heptahydrátu síranu železnatého a hexahydrátu chloridu železitého. Následnou metodou suspenzní polymerace, zapouzdřením magnetických nanočástic Fe3O4 do zesíťované hydrofobní polymerní matrice, byly připraveny částice Fe3O4@polystyren. V posledním stupni syntézy byly částice funkcionalizovány navázáním allyl skupiny. Produkt byl charakterizován pomocí FT-IR a elementární analýzy, skenovací elektronové mikroskopie a DSC analýzy.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis literary research on preparation, characterization and utilization of Fe3O4 and preparation, characterization and functionalization of magnetic core polymer composite was performed. Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared by coprecipitation method. In the next step Fe3O4@polystyrene nanoparticles were prepared by suspension polymerization, meaning encapsulating the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles into the crosslinked hydrophobic polymer matrix. In the last step of the synthesis particles were functionalized by linking a functional group. Products of the synthesis were characterized by FT-IR and microanalysis, SEM and DSC analysis.
