Fresco Painting in the Chapel of Conversion of Saint Paul in the Pernstein Castle
Abstract:
Tato práce pojednává o nástěnné a nástropní výmalbě v kapli Obrácení sv. Pavla na hradě Pernštejně, fresce z roku 1716. Vedle vlastní studie o výmalbě kaple je v práci rovněž obsažena syntéza a zhodnocení relevantních výsledků dosavadního vědeckého bádání, souvisejícího s dílem autora malby, Františka Řehoře Ignáce Ecksteina (1689?-1741).
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the murals and ceiling paintings in the chapel of Conversion of St. Paul in the castle of Pernštejn, the fresco dating back to the 1716. Apart from the study of the chapel paintings, the thesis also contains a synthesis and evaluation of the relevant results of the existing research, connected with the works of František Řehoř Ignác Eckstein (1689?-1741), the author of the paintings …more
