Transfusion preparations in pre-hospital emergency care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou aplikace transfúzních přípravků v přednemocniční neodkladné péči, přičemž tento postup je jednou z možností, jak postiženému krevní ztrátou uhradit jeho ztracený objem. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou obecně shrnuty informace o fyziologii krve, klinickém obrazu krvácení a následném rozvoji šoku a dalších patologických stavů. Dále pojednává o rozdělení transfúzních přípravků, možnostech užití a vzniku nežádoucích reakcí a případných alternativách tohoto typu léčby. Praktickou část tvoří kvantitativní šetření u vybraných zdravotnických záchranných služeb realizovaný formou dotazníku, který je doplněn o kazuistiku pacienta, kterému byl v přednemocniční neodkladné péči podán transfúzní přípravek. Cílem práce je popsat specifika a možnosti užití transfúzních přípravků v přednemocniční neodkladné péči v České republice a analyzovat využití transfúzních přípravků u vybraných zdravotnických záchranných služeb v České republice.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the application of transfusion products in pre-hospital emergency care. This procedure is one of the possible ways to compensate the blood loss sufferer for the lost volume. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes information about the physiology of blood, the clinical picture of hemorrhage and the subsequent development of shock and other pathological states. This part also discusses the distribution of transfusion products, the possibilities of use and occurrence of adverse reactions and possible alternatives to this type of treatment. The practical part consists of a quantitative research in selected health emergency services carried out in the form of a questionnaire. The next section presents a case study of a patient who recieved a transfusion product in pre-hospital emergency care. The aim of the thesis is to describe the specifics and possibilities of the use of transfusion preparations in pre-hospital emergency care in the Czech Republic and to analyse the use of transfusion preparations in selected emergency medical services in the Czech Republic.
