Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je najít spojitost mezi hudebním nadáním a schopností osvojit si cizí jazyky. V teoretické části se zabýváme především psychologickým a hudebním vývojem dítěte. Práce se poté zabývá problémy s kterými se český mluvčí setkává při osvojení anglického jazyka. V praktické části se seznámíme s doposud publikovanými odbornými studiemi. Obsáhlejší část se poté věnuje dotazníkovému šetření a jeho analýze. Poslední část překládá vyhodnocené závěry jak z publikovaných studií, tak z dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to establish whether there is a connection between musical talent and the ability to acquire foreign languages. The theoretical part primarily discusses children’s psychological and musical development. The thesis then analyses the problems a Czech speaker encounters when learning English. The practical part will introduce existing literature relevant to the topic, followed by the analysis of a survey conducted in the form of a questionnaire. The final part presents the conclusions reached after consideration of both published studies and the survey.
