NPM and utilization of ICTs in public administration

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce NPM a využití informačních a komunikačních technologií ve veřejné správě je analýza souvislostí současných reforem veřejné správy spojených s využíváním informačních a komunikačních technologií. První část zahrnuje charakteristiku veřejné správy, NPM, e-Government a jejich vzájemné vztahy. Ve druhé části jsou popsány zahraniční zkušenosti s reformami veřejné správy v Německu a USA, které souvisí s využitím informačních a komunikačních technologií. Třetí část je zaměřena na reformu veřejné správy v České republice v souvislosti s používáním informačních a komunikačních technologií.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis NPM and the utilization of ICTs in public administration is to analyse the interrelationships of current administrative reforms in connection with the use of ICTs. The first part covers the terms: public administration, NPM, e-Government, and their interrelationships. The second part describes international experience in administrative reform using ICTs in Germany and the USA. The third part is focused on administrative reform in the Czech Republic relating to the application of ICTs.
