Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá celovečerním filmem v Saskatchewanu. V práci jsou zkoumány filmy Wheat Soup (1987), WolfCop (2014), Corner Gas: The Movie (2014), The Sabbatical (2015) a Another WolfCop (2017). Na základě rozboru těchto filmů jsou představeny hlavní rysy saskatchewanské kinematografie se zaměřením na formování identity a obrazu provincie.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the topics of place-image and identity in Saskatchewan feature film. Through a qualitative analysis of Wheat Soup (1987), WolfCop (2014), Corner Gas: The Movie (2014), The Sabbatical (2015), and Another WolfCop (2017), it explores the dominant features of Saskatchewan cinema.
