Analysis of lithotectonic sequence in Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline unit

Abstract:

V morfologické mapě byly v krkonošsko-jizerském krystaliniku, v údolí řeky Jizery, pozorovány výrazné horninové horizonty tvořící pruhy. Terénní průzkum s naměřenými daty ukázal, že se jedná o pruhy kvarcitu. Na základě všech dosažených výsledků lze shrnout, že kvarcity tvoří v morfologické mapě výrazné horizonty po obou stranách údolí řeky Jizery. Po terénním průzkumu a bližší morfologické analýzy studovaného území je možné říct, že foliace jsou mírně ukloněné směrem k V až JV. Geomorfologická analýza ukázala, že údolí je rozděleno na západní a východní břeh, kde na každém z nich jsou 3 pruhy kvarcitu, podobných mocností. Okolní horniny na obou stranách údolí mají také podobné rozměry. Podle zjištěných mocností jednotlivých vrstev kvarcitu a okolních hornin je možné spojit západní a východní břeh. Vzniklá sekvence hornin spolu se zlomem běžícím podél údolí, která je zakreslena do výsledné mapy území, ukazuje a vysvětluje podobnost obou břehů.

Abstract:

In the morphological map, in the Krkonoše-Jizerské crystallinikum, in the valley of the river Jizera, there were significant rock horizons forming stripes. A field survey with measured data showed that there are a stripes of quartz. On the basis of all the results obtained, it can be concluded that the quartzite in the morphological map forms significant horizons along both sides of the Jizera River valley. After a field survey and closer morphological analysis of the studied area, it is possible to say that the foliation is slightly inclined towards the E to the SE. Geomorphological analysis has shown that the valley is divided into the western and eastern bank sof the river, each of which has three stripes of quartz, similar in thickness. The surrounding rocks are similar in thickness on both sides of valley. According to the established thickness of the individual layers of quartzite and the surrounding rocks, it is possible to connect the western and eastern banks of the river. The resulting sequence of rocks is plotted in the resulting map of the territory showing and explaining the similarity of both banks divided by a fault.
