External beam radiotherapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma - role of radiology assistant

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je, jak plyne z názvu, úloha radiologického asistenta při plánování a provádění zevní radioterapie u pacientů s Hodgkinovým lymfomem. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny anatomické poznatky k tématu, historie onemocnění, epidemiologie, příznaky onemocnění, diagnostika a způsoby léčby. V praktické části je kladen důraz na vlastní plánování zevní radioterapie a její aplikaci.

Abstract:

As the title of the presented bachelor thesis implies, the topic is the role of radiology assistant in the planning and implementation of external beam radiotherapy in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the description of the basic anatomy, history of the disease, epidemiology, symptoms of the disease, diagnosis and methods of treatment. In the practical part the focus is on the external beam radiotherapy planning and its application.
