Classification of cognitive demands of the tasks of the geographical olympiad 2020/2021 for 6th year of primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na hodnocení kognitivní náročnosti úloh okresního kola zeměpisné olympiády 2020/2021 pro žáky 6. třídy základní školy. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na zeměpisnou olympiádu, její organizační řád, historii a na revoluční ročník zeměpisné olympiády 2019/2020. Dále se teoretická část zabývá učebními úlohami v pedagogice, ale i učebními úlohami a otázkami v hodinách zeměpisu, zejména je kladen důraz na formální podobu úloh. Praktická část zkoumá formální podobu úloh v jednotlivých částech okresního kola zeměpisné olympiády. Následně je zhodnocena úspěšnost úloh v rámci každé části zeměpisné olympiády. V poslední fázi je pomocí komparace a popisné statistiky vyhodnocena nejhůře řešitelná úloha a je porovnán průměr správných odpovědí v rámci částí okresního kola zeměpisné olympiády 2020/2021 pro žáky 6. třídy.

Abstract:

The Master's thesis is focused on the assessment of the cognitive demands of the tasks in the district round of the Geographical Olympiad 2020/2021 for sixth-grade pupils of primary school. The work consists of the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the Geographical Olympiad, its organizational rules, history and the revolutionary year of the Geographical Olympiad 2019/2020. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with tasks in pedagogy as well as teaching tasks or issues in geography lessons, especially emphasis is placed on the formal form of tasks. The practical part examines the formal form of tasks in individual parts in the district round of the Geographical Olympiad. Subsequently, the success of the tasks within each part of the Geographical Olympiad is assessed. In the last phase, the worst-case problem is assessed using comparison and descriptive statistics, and the average of the correct responses within the parts in the district round of Geographical Olympiad 2020/2021 for sixth-grade pupils are compared.
