Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá zabezpečením záväzkov v obchodnom a občianskom práve. Práca je rozdelená do troch nadväzujúcich kapitol. V úvodnej časti sa autorka zamerala na problematiku záväzkov, na zabezpečenie záväzkov, na vznik, zmenu a zánik záväzkov a vzťah obchodného a občianskeho zákonníka.
