Diplomová práce se ve vymezeném rozsahu pokouší, pomocí metody studia historických materiálů, zachytit organizační klima a komunikaci zlínské radnice v době, kdy byl starostou Zlína Tomáš Baťa. Tyto okolnosti pak zasazuje do historických souvislostí. Popisuje nejdůležitější a převládající události každého volebního období až do tragické smrti Tomáše Bati. Using the method of study of historical materials, the thesis attempts within its defined extent to describe the organisational climate and communication of the Zlín town hall at a time when Tomáš Baťa was mayor of Zlín.
