Financial literacy in primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o tématu vyučování finanční gramotnosti na základních školách. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř sekcí. V první sekci se čtenář seznámí s teorií a s vybranými pojmy a jak jsou tyto pojmy definované v odborné literatuře. V druhé části je čtenář obeznámen s tím jak je finanční gramotnost ukotvena v rámci vzdělávacího programu pro základní školy, seznámíme se s výsledky průzkumu České bankovní asociace, týkajícími se finanční gramotnosti a s výukou finanční gramotnosti v různých učebnicích. Jedná se jak o učebnice zaměřené čistě na finanční gramotnost, tak také učebnice používané v běžné výuce matematiky. Učebnice jsou také děleny v rámci data vydání od učebnice z roku 1924, po nejnovější vydané v roce 2021. Třetí část je praktická část diplomové práce, v ní jsou představeny tři přípravy se zaměřením na nový přístup výuky finanční matematiky na základní škole. Přípravy obsahují jak potřebné metodické podklady, tak také pracovní listy s řešením. V rámci poslední sekce jsou pak uvedeny další možné zdroje k dovzdělání ve finanční matematice, jsou děleny na knihy, podcasty, ale také youtube videa a dokumenty.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of teaching financial literacy in primary schools. The thesis is divided into four sections. In the first section, the reader is introduced to the theory and selected concepts and how these concepts are defined in the literature. In the second section, the reader is introduced to how financial literacy is anchored in the primary school curriculum, the results of the Czech Banking Association's survey on financial literacy, and the teaching of financial literacy in various textbooks. These include textbooks focused purely on financial literacy as well as textbooks used in mainstream mathematics teaching. The textbooks are also divided within the date of publication, from the 1924 textbook to the most recent one published in 2021. The third part is the practical part of the thesis, and three preparations are presented, focusing on a new approach to teaching financial mathematics in primary school. The preparations contain both the necessary methodological materials and worksheets with solutions. Within the last section, other possible resources are then presented, for re-education in financial mathematics, they are divided into books, podcasts, but also youtube videos and documents.
