Influencing the movement stereotypes in patients with multiple sclerosis

Abstract:

SOUHRN Tato bakalářská práce s názvem: "Ovlivnění pohybových stereotypů u pacientů s RS" je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, a to Teoretická východiska a část praktickou. První část obsahuje literární rešerši, anatomii CNS týkající se RS, historii a definici RS, patogenezi, etiologii, epidemiologii, typy RS, vyšetřovací metody, klinický obraz, prognózu a terapii RS. Druhá část práce zahrnuje popis možných fyzioterapeutických metod, zpracovanou kazuistiku konkrétního pacienta s diagnózou RS. Součástí je vstupní vyšetření a návrh krátkodobého rehabilitačního plánu s následnou realizací vlastní fyzioterapie. Po 4,5 měsíční terapii jsem provedla výstupní vyšetření, zhodnocení fyzioterapeutické péče a dosažených poznatků během vlastní realizace RHB. Cílem fyzioterapeutické intervence bylo přispět k řešení problematiky volbou vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod a poukázat na význam fyzioterapie u RS. K terapii jsem využila především prvky akrální koaktivační terapie a senzomotorické stimulace, aktivní cvičení, cvičení k aktivaci HSS. Ke cvičení jsme využili Therabandu a podložky Flowin. Demonstrovanou fyzioterapií jsme dosáhli především zlepšení rovnováhy a stability, zlepšení celkové kondice, zvýšení svalové síly dolních končetin. Došlo i k mírnému snížení patologické únavy.

Abstract:

SUMMARY ..The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the Effect of movement stereotypes in patients with Multiple sclerosiss(MS). The thesis is composed of two chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects, the theoretical basis and the practical. The first chapter includes a theoretical review, the anatomy of the Central Nervous Systém (CNS) related to MS pathogenesis, aetiology, epidemiology, types of MS, diagnosis, therapy and prognosis. The second chapter includes a description of the potential physiotherapy procedures, the case report on the selected patient with the MS. A component is the initial examination and the design of a short-term rehabilitation plan with the subsequent implementation of physiotherapy. After 4 and a half months of therapy, I conducted a final examination, an evaluation of the physiotherapy care and the information acquired during the realization of the rehabilitation. The goal is to highlight the effect of physiotherapy in MS and select appropriate physiotherapy techniques to contribute to solving problems on selected client with multiple sclerosis. The therapies I used included elements of acral coactivation therapy and sensorimotor stimulation therapy, active exercises, and activation of the deep core stability muscles. We used theraband, FLOWIN? Friction Training was also used. We achieved improvement in the balance and stability and overall fitness and increased muscle strength of the lower limbs. There was also a decrease in pathological fatigue.
