Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá interpretací motivických okruhů tuláctví a domova v díle Karla Tomana. Cílem je vystihnout vývoj v básníkově poetice, který se nachází mezi těmito dvěma okruhy. Práce Poezie Karla Tomana se člení na tři části. V první teoretické části je práce zaměřena především na vybrané kritické ohlasy autorových sbírek Torzo života, Melancholické pouti, Slunečních hodin a Měsíců. Ohlasy jsou orientovány na recepci vybraných kritiků dvacátého století. Druhá část práce se věnuje motivickému okruhu poezie tuláctví a sleduje motivy s tímto okruhem spojené v básnických sbírkách Torzo života, Melancholická pouť a Sluneční hodiny.Třetí část práce se naopak věnuje motivickému okruhu poezie domova, který sleduje ve sbírce Měsíce. V této závěrečné části se práce zabývá také motivy, které jsou s okruhem poezie domova spojeny. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty nalezené motivy a básníkův poetický vývoj.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on interpretation of motivic circuits of vagrancy and home in the work of Karel Toman. Its purpose is to desribe the evolution of writer’s poetics, which lies in between those two circuits. Thesis titled Poezie Karla Tomana is divided into three parts. The first one is theoretical and it focuses mainly on selected critical responses to author’s collections of poems Torzo života, Melancholické pouti, Sluneční hodiny and Měsíce. Those critical responses are focused on reception of selected critics of the twentieth century. The second part deals with motivic circuits of vagrancy poetry and follows motives connected to this circuit in collections of poems Torzo, života, Melancholická pouť a Sluneční hodiny. The third and last part focuses on the motivic circuit of home in collection of poems Měsíce. This final part also deals with motives, that are connected to the circuit of poetry of home. Conclusion contains summary of found motives and description of author’s poetic evolution.
