Prevention of pressure lesions in perioperative care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku prevence tlakových lézí v perioperační péči. V teoretické části práce je vysvětlen pojem tlaková léze, rizika jejich vzniku, klasifikace a léčba. Dále je definována perioperační péče a její fáze, práce perioperačních sester a antidekubitní pomůcky používané v perioperační péči. Empirická část analyzuje nasbíraná data včetně rozdílů mezi jednotlivými institucemi, kde výzkum probíhal. Průzkum byl realizován pomocí anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Cílem práce bylo ověřit znalosti a dodržování bezpečnostních opatření v perioperační péči, dále zjistit, jaké ochranné pomůcky jsou využívány na operačních sálech v rámci prevence tlakových lézí. Zjistit, jestli jsou v rámci perioperační péče vyhodnocována rizika vzniku tlakových lézí a ověřit zájem perioperačních sester o vytvoření nového bezpečnostního protokolu. Výstupem práce je návrh řešení zjištěných nedostatků v praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the prevention of pressure lesions in perioperative care. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis explains the concept of pressure lesion, risks, classification and treatment. Furthermore, perioperative care and its phases, the work of perioperative nurses and anti-decubitus aids used in perioperative care are defined. The empirical part analyzes the collected data, including differences between the individual institutions where the research took place. The survey of the work was carried out using a questionnaire survey. The aim of the work was to verify the knowledge and compliance with safety measures in perioperative care, to find out what protective aids are used in operating rooms in prevention of pressure lesions. Find out whether the risk of pressure lesions is evaluated within perioperative care and verify the interest of perioperative nurses in creating new safety protocol. The empirical part analyzes the collected results and the result of the analysis was a proposal for solving the identified shortcomings in practice.
